Welcome to the Escape documentation. It is dedicated to developers and tech managers questionning the security of their GraphQL applications.

# What is Escape?

Escape is a SaaS platform able to detect common vulnerabilities and complex zero-day attack scenarios in GraphQL applications, during development, whithout the need of installing an agent.

It uses Machine Learning to continuously discover your API and notify you everytime it finds sensitive_data, complexity bypasses, tenant isolation issues, DOS, injections… Escape constantly adapts to new GraphQL attacks and vulnerabilities and to your application updates, so that you never have to worry about your GraphQL security again.

Escape also provides an extensible performance monitoring solution helping you to understand in depth how your GraphQL endpoints respond to real-world traffic and thus allows you to detect unoptimised or long resolvers, N+1 problems, etc.

Yes.

Because Escape runs outside of your stack, it supports all GraphQL implementations out of the box (present and future).

# Is it safe?

Yes.

Escape does not cause any downtime. It also has a Read-Only mode dedicated to production environment that send no mutations and is perfectly safe for your production and your customers πŸ˜ƒ

# How do I use Escape?

Escape can be either used completely automatically (no configuration), manually (advanced configuration) or in your CI/CD.
